FAQ — Questions We Get About Custom Countertops

Businesses do not always have to be closed for installation. We understand the importance of not interrupting daily routines and strive to work with owners to schedule a time that will have as little effect on the happenings of your business as possible.

Installation time varies due to the size of the project, but in general, it takes approximately 4 hours of service to install a new countertop. 

Our installations are normally scheduled Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

The most important thing to consider is your happiness in the choice of the material as you more than likely will have to live with your new countertops for many years. This is why we offer more than 100 onsite slabs for you to choose from.

There is no real set time. For some, the time for a new countertop comes when you are doing a total renovation or just want a refreshed look by repainting your cabinets and installing new countertops. 

Solid surface (acrylic surfaces, Corian, etc.) now have a very wide array of colors to choose from — practically every color in the rainbow! We are sure we have one that will fit your style and needs. 

The process is quite simple: 

1. Bring a sketch of your current countertops to us. 
2. Pick a material/color.
3. We will give you a quote. If accepted, we receive half down to order material. 
4. We will schedule a template time. (In most cases, this can be done with the current countertops in place.)
5. Once the template is complete, let us know what date you plan to have the current countertops taken out. 
6. Schedule a date for the installation of your new custom countertops!
